CSV to JSON
Convert CSV table data into JSON arrays and objects.
Parse XML and convert it into structured JSON output.
Keeps attributes under @attributes and text under #text so a round trip loses nothing; keeping attributes is optional.
Parsed with the browser XML parser, so a syntax error is reported instead of a half-converted result.
Repeated sibling elements become an array automatically; attributes are collected under `@attributes`; an element with both attributes and text keeps the text in `#text` — none of the three overwrite each other.
A text-only element yields a plain string (`<a>1</a>` → `"1"`) and an empty element yields `{}`; the "keep attributes" toggle drops that layer entirely.
Paste the XML
Paste the whole document; a parse failure is reported as a syntax problem.
Drop attributes for a flatter shape
Untick "keep attributes" and element attributes no longer appear in the result.
Copy the JSON
The structure feeds straight into something like json-to-csv for tables.
XML has no type system: whether `<year>2023</year>` is a number or an identifier is something only you know. This follows the same rule as the CSV/TSV converters here — keep it verbatim and convert downstream.
A JSON object has no notion of attributes, so they go under a reserved key, which stops attributes and child elements from overwriting each other. If you want a flat shape (with `id` as a plain key), untick keep-attributes and add them yourself.
