CSV to JSON
Convert CSV table data into JSON arrays and objects.
Convert HTML markup into Markdown.
Converts HTML into Markdown, keeping headings, lists, links and emphasis.
Parsed with the browser HTML parser and mapped tag by tag: h1–h6, bold/italic/strikethrough, inline code, links, images, ordered and unordered lists, blockquotes, `<pre>` blocks, `<hr>` and `<br>`.
Unknown tags keep only their text: the `<div>` or `<span>` wrapper disappears, and a `<table>` loses its structure too, leaving the cell text run together.
A `<pre>` block takes its raw text instead of converting children, so the `<code>` inside does not come back wrapped in extra backticks inside the fence.
Paste the HTML
The sample is a heading, paragraph, list and link; compare the output against it.
Check headings and lists
Levels come from the tags themselves — `<h5>` and `<h6>` produce five and six hashes.
Copy the Markdown
Before pasting into a README or docs site, remember tables and nested lists need manual repair.
Neither keeps its structure: a table leaves only the cell text run together, and nested lists are flattened onto one level with no indentation. Keep the original HTML, or repair the Markdown afterwards — both need real parsing and are out of scope here.
Headings, paragraphs, bold/italic, inline code, links and single-level lists survive. Tables and nested lists lose their structure, and the language on a fenced block is lost as well (this page writes a bare fence, and the other direction does not read a language).
