Color Picker
Pick a colour and read off its HEX, RGB and HSL values.
Build CSS linear and radial gradients visually, then copy the code.
Visual editor for linear gradients: pick the colours and direction and copy the resulting background declaration.
It generates a **two-colour linear gradient**: `linear-gradient(direction, from, to)`. Directions are right, down, 45° and 135° — the diagonals use angles rather than `to top right` because an angle lands predictably, while a `to …` keyword shifts with the element aspect ratio.
Both colours come from a picker or a pasted hex, and the preview updates on either change.
The output is a single `background` line that works on any selector.
Pick a direction
Right and down cover the usual horizontal and vertical cases; 45° and 135° are the two diagonals.
Set the two colours
Picker and hex field stay in sync; the default pair (rose to blue) has enough contrast for buttons and cards.
Copy the background
One line, no gradient syntax to assemble.
This tool only produces two-colour linear gradients. CSS itself accepts any number of stops with positions (`linear-gradient(to right, #a, #b 50%, #c)`) and has `radial-gradient` / `conic-gradient` — insert `, #xxx 50%` between your two colours and control the position with a percentage.
That is 8-bit quantisation, most visible in gentle gradients. Two usual countermeasures: add an intermediate stop (for example `#b 50%`) so the transition is finer, or overlay very light noise (SVG `feTurbulence` or a translucent noise image) to break up the steps. There is no more thorough fix in the browser.
