Rotate or mirror an image.
Rotates by any angle and flips horizontally or vertically. Phone photos carrying an EXIF orientation are handled the way they display, not reversed.
Any angle from -180° to 180°, plus horizontal and vertical flips; the canvas grows to the **bounding box** of the rotated image, so no corner gets clipped.
Multiples of 90° are a pure pixel rearrangement with **no resampling loss**; any other angle must resample and softens the edges slightly — prefer 90° over 89° when you can.
PNG or JPEG output: JPEG has no alpha, so transparent areas turn black — choose PNG to keep transparency.

The preview appears immediately and the effect of angle and flip is live.
Drag the angle or tick a flip
Flips are mirrors (horizontal/vertical) and stack with rotation — both happen on the same canvas.

PNG when transparency matters, JPEG for photos where a smaller file wins.
Because the browser applies the EXIF orientation when decoding, so the tool receives already-upright pixels. The rotation you see in the preview is only yours — it is not applied twice. The EXIF tag itself does not survive into the output.
90°, 180° and 270° do not — those only move pixels around. Every other angle runs a bilinear resample, and two or three passes visibly soften the image. Rotate to the final angle in one go, or fix orientation with multiples of 90° first.
